November 22, 2003: New bearing arrived so I assembled. Oddly, I thought I'd try the rule of thumb about rivet sizes and the spec'd out rivets are too short! Turns out that Van's opted for the shorter rivets since beginners apparently tend to bend the longer rivets over then having to redo them.
