December 22, 2003: Improper dimpling can result in distortion as shown on the left side. The cause here was that I was trying to be kind to the pneumatic dimpler. The fix was to increase the air pressure and to turn the adjustable set holder an additional turn after the dies contact. In order to achieve this, I manipulate the plunger so that it extends half way and then turn the set holder.
